Desert Wheels: Islander Hits the Trail
Every President’s Day weekend, Islander trades water for sand on their annual off-road expedition, a beloved tradition unique to this ship.
How Can I Help Out?
Our goal for 2026 is $61,000 for program expenses, separate from our major capital project for the Manta’srestoration.
What a year for the Islander. Several of our Crew and Mates were directly impacted by the fires in January, yet we came through stronger than ever as we headed into our 95th year. We continued cherished traditions and started a new one with our first Fleet Cruise.
Our fleet of vessels gives the Crew the chance to develop real maritime skills and seamanship. Whether they pursue careers on the water or paths far from it, they leave with leadership abilities, confidence, and friendships that last a lifetime.
